Portrait & Concert Photographer
I’m Ethan, a photographer and designer based between Montreal and Toronto. I’m currently in my fourth year of Graphic Communications Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, where I study design, print production, and the business behind visual communication.
My experience includes photography, social media, and design work for camps, community organizations, and local businesses. I enjoy the variety of covering an event one day and working on a layout or editing photos the next. Each project gives me a chance to understand a different organization and the people it wants to reach.
I like being involved from the first conversation through to the finished work. Understanding what someone needs, paying attention to the details, and being open to feedback are all part of how I approach a project.
What I Believe
The best images happen between control and chaos, the movement, tension, strong light, and moments that only exist for a second.
I’m drawn to people with presence. Artists before they walk on stage, crowded rooms right before the music starts, portraits where the attitude already says enough. That’s the energy I naturally look for in my work. Whether I’m photographing concerts or portraits, I want the images to feel difficult to forget.
